I just had so much fun putting together an Easter basket for my girlfriend’s husband. Thank you Ms B for your trust in me. <3 It is filled to the brim with all of my favorite healthy products for the local health food store. It was too amazing not to share.
Fresh batch of Sweet Bark ~ it seems that I am making this for my friends and family more and more these days
I always keep a pestle and mortar close by for my fresh herbs. Its also good to keep a balanced dry herb blend around for cooking. I like turmeric, ginger, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, coriander and a hint of cayenne.
Spectrum Warrior Vitality for energy and libido. I can’t rave about the natural vanilla caramel flavor enough.
Hemp hearts for Omega 3&6. These seeds are packed full of amino acids and are a better source of protein than soy. They don’t contain any THC, the psychoactive ingredient in cannabis.
Mucina prudiens herb for mental clarity. M. pruriens contains L-DOPA, a precursor to the neurotransmitter dopamine and formulations of the seed powder have been studied for the management and treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
Sun Potion Prash for digestion and immunity. All I can tell you is that if I were stranded on an island and could have one food, it would be this one.
Mother-In-Law kimchi for digestion. Fermented foods are good for everyone. In particular, they are important for anyone with stress, digestive issues, immune dis-ease or autoimmune function. The have natural probiotics and strengthen the immune system.
Smarty Pants multivitamin – These are the most responsibly source vitamins but the most socially responsible company I have found. I feed them to my entire family and my friends, when they let me.
Raw Reserve E3Alive and Greens+Protein is a newer product in my arsenal but I can tell a difference. I think its all the greens, sea vegetables & raw probiotics. Plus its a totally vegan formula that delivers essential plants and herbs to help fight free radicals in the body.
Eye Promise is loaded with Zeaxanthin and Lutein. In a nutshell, those are macular pigments in our retina that function like “internal sunglasses” to protect the photo-receptors. Mine were low so my ophthalmologist suggested Eye Promise and it is working. The noticeable differences are in my visual acuity and sensitivity to glare and night vision.
JoMo juice for joint mobility is a mainstay. I add it to salad dressing, smoothies and even chocolate bard! It’s full of glucosamine chondrotin and typeII collagen for joint health, tissue support, damage prevention and cartilage growth.
George’s aloe vera water. Aloe has been used for centuries to help in maintaining a healthy digestive tract. Evidence through different studies seems to indicate that beneficial properties in the Aloe help in allowing the body to maintain a healthy mucous membrane system.
EDENGomasio to replace salt after cooking. Goma means sesame and shio means salt. Eastern cultures do not put straight salt on food. They use condiments like gomasio to better balance and enhance. Sesame’s oil is released by roasting, coats the salt and amplifies it for more taste from less salt.
I like to add in David Kirsch Thermo Bubbles for days when I need a pick me up. It’s loaded with vitamins and minerals to boost energy level and metabolism while promoting lean muscle mass. Plus, the taste is Delish!
Now I am off to a nap. A much needed and well deserved rest. Wishing you all a blessed Holy Weekend.
